I am so grateful to live in a community where neighbors show up for each other.
Last night I spent the evening sharing our vision for SJUSD and building relationships that matter with neighbors and new friends. Together, we’re building momentum, lifting each other up, and working toward a school district that reflects the hopes and values of our community. When neighbors come together with a shared vision, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.
Thank you to everyone who’s been knocking doors, hosting conversations, sharing ideas, and cheering us on. Your support means everything.
Together, we will move our school district forward.

Spending time reading to students for Read Across America Day filled my educator bucket and my mom heart. “Ada Twist, Scientist” and “The Day You Beginning” were big hits with the students!

I spent Saturday with our community sharing the message of our campaign - that our students, families and staff deserve leadership that intentionally works to bring them to the table - because we will lead the next chapter of SJUSD, together.
So much appreciation to hosts Mari and Teresa for making this possible.

Last night’s fundraiser left me feeling incredibly grateful and energized for the road ahead.
I was honored to be surrounded by local elected officials, community leaders, colleagues, neighbors, family, and friends who all came together because they believe in the future of our schools and our students. The support in the room was incredible, the excitement was infectious, and the power of our community showing up for San Juan Unified was truly inspiring.
Campaigns are about more than elections—they’re about people coming together to build the schools and communities our kids deserve. Last night reminded me just how strong this community is when we rally around our students.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and continues to believe in this campaign. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited for what we’ll accomplish together.

Thank you to the Arden Park Indivisible Coffee Klatch for hosting such a wonderful meeting. The room was full, the questions were plentiful, and the passion to do something was contagious!
Neighbor by neighbor, house by house, we are spreading the message that the SJUSD School Board needs strong leadership to protect and uplift ALL students.

Still fired up after my first fundraising house party! Being in a room full of engaged neighbors and community leaders was a powerful reminder of how deeply our community cares about our schools. These conversation fuel my commitment to bring experience, thoughtful leadership, and real passion to the school board. This campaign is just getting started - and I hope you’ll join us as we build the momentum together.

Martin Luther King Jr Day: Sacramento March for the Dream
The MLK Jr March in Sacramento was a powerful reminder of what community looks like. Walking alongside neighbors, leaders, democratic organizations like the Sacramento Democrats and Women Democrats of Sacramento and fellow candidates, Amy Slavensky and Jag Nagendra reinforced why I’m committed to public service and to ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive. Let’s keep moving forward—together.

October Food Drive
A huge thanks to everyone for their generosity. Between food and funds, we were able to fill the entire back of the car!
Your donations will be dropped off this Thursday to the San Juan Unified School District to help students and families who are facing food insecurity.
