Parent. Educator. Leader.

As a parent with children in San Juan Unified, I know firsthand the trust families place in our schools. As a teacher and principal, I have spent two decades serving students directly, leading schools to higher achievement and stronger outcomes. And as a community leader, I’ve worked side by side with families, educators, and partners to build programs that expand opportunity and access.

These experiences — from the classroom to the boardroom to my own home — give me a uniquely comprehensive perspective. I understand how decisions made at the board level ripple out to classrooms, families, and entire neighborhoods, and that insight makes me the best person to represent our community and ensure students remain at the center of every decision.

Community Committed

My own children attend schools in our community, and I believe—like you—that a strong education is the greatest gift we can give our kids. I know that the best ideas come from open conversation and genuine connection, which is why I am committed to listening carefully and ensuring that the voices of families in Trustee Area 3 are heard and represented.
